Kids Do As They See… Not As We Say.

Kids do as they see…

Not as we say.

👀 If you want your kids to eat healthy, then YOU have to eat healthy.

👀 If you don’t want your kids to grow up stressed out, burnt out & unhappy with their lives, then YOU need to show them how to have healthy boundaries & prioritize YOUR well-being.

👀 If you want your kids to have a healthy weight & body, then YOU need to take the action necessary to make YOUR body healthy.

👀 If you want your kids to grow up in abundance, then YOU have to stop living with a scarcity mindset & start feeling the abundance you have in your life.

👀 If you want your kids to be resilient, then YOU need to remember that YOU have survived 100% of your bad days thus far, and pick yourself back up & try again.

👀 If you want your kids to follow their dreams, then YOU have to be brave enough to follow yours.

👀 If you want your kids to have healthy, happy & loving relationships, then YOU need to engage in healthy, happy & loving relationships.

👀 If you want your kids to grow up & be grateful for what they have, then YOU need to be grateful for what YOU have.

👀 If you want your kids to feel loved, then YOU have to demonstrate receiving love as well as giving it.

👀 If you want your kids to forgive you for the ways you didn’t show up as your best self as a parent, then YOU need to forgive yourself & do the work necessary to repair the relationship with them.

👀 If you want your kids to live a happy, fulfilling, purposeful life, then YOU need to live a happy, fulfilling & purposeful life yourself.

👀 If you don’t want your kids to struggle with the things that you struggle with, then YOU need to do the work to overcome YOUR struggles…

▪️We can’t protect our kids from life’s hardships.

▪️We can’t make their path easy.

▪️We can’t make the conditions perfect for them.

▪️We can’t make their decisions for them.

▪️We can’t control how their lives will be in anyway…

But…

We can be an example to them…

We won’t be perfect - far from it.

But…

✨We can show them they are worthy of goodness by allowing goodness in our lives.

✨We can show them how to love themselves by loving ourselves.

✨We can show them how to “fail forward” by allowing ourselves to make mistakes, without punishment, and pick ourselves up again.

✨We can show them to never give up on their dreams by never giving up on ours.

✨We can show them how to create a happy life by living a happy life.

✨We can show them everything we want for them by becoming the person who is those things ourselves.

If you want a better life for your kids, then show them what a better life looks like right now.

XO,

Stacie
