The Wisdom Within

We have villainized our bodies.

* When our bodies signal pain, we condemn it.

* When our bodies signal hunger, fatigue or thirst, we ignore it.

* When our bodies desire pleasure, we suppress it…

We have detached from the wisdom our bodies hold, and we’ve searched for the solution outside of ourselves…

Not surprisingly, we haven’t found it.

* So, we push through the pain & cause more damage to our bodies… sometimes permanent damage.

* We push through the hunger, then binge… we push through the fatigue, then get sick/burnout… we push through the thirst, then feel lethargic, irritated & have various symptoms like headaches, stiffness, etc.

* We suppress our desire for connection, orgasms, play & laughter… then become depressed, anxious & self-abusing by becoming alcoholics, workaholics, shopaholics, food-a-holocausts, workout-a-holics, or whatever-a-holics by using anything we can to avoid feeling what it is we truly need to feel alive…

Our bodies are inherently good. Our bodies are our allies. Our bodies heal. Our bodies are wise. Our bodies are perfectly designed…

It’s advertising, religion & social conditioning that tell us otherwise… and they all benefit from our disconnection to our bodies…

Learning to befriend your body will change your how you move through the world. Listening to the signals your body gives you will change your health. Fulfilling your body’s desires will change your life…

You and your body are on the same team. Working with your body, instead of against it, will free up your energy to pursue your purpose in this lifetime…

Your body is YOUR home, no one else’s… you wouldn’t let anyone else enter your house & criticize it, destroy it, force you to change it, or tell you to ignore the maintenance needed to make it habitable…

Don’t let anyone else invade your home, especially those conditioned automatic negative thoughts that aren’t even yours.

Your body is wise.

Your body is always healing.

Your body is powerful. Own it.

XO,

Stacie
